    Dr. Ailsa Currie Emo has been part of the Nunda Veterinary Clinic since 2015 and holds a membership with the American Veterinary Medical Association.

    Since a young age, Dr. Ailsa Emo has focused on being a veterinarian. Dr. Emo grew up in Pictou, NS, Canada, and attended university in Canada. She graduated with First Class Honors, Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Prince Edward Island, and her doctorate from Atlantic Veterinary College in Prince Edward Island with First Class Honors.

    At home, Dr. Emo has horses, a goat, cats, dogs, sheep, pigs, chickens, ducks, a love bird, a hamster, and rabbits. Dr. Emo is the mother of two children, Piper and Brooks. In her time away from the Nunda Veterinary Clinic she enjoys competitive horseback riding, kayaking, hiking and camping and watching her kids' sporting events.

  • Rebecca Forrester, Licensed Veterinary Technician with her labrador Belle

    Rebecca Forrester, Practice Manager and Licensed Veterinary Technician

    Rebecca started at the Nunda Veterinary Clinic in March 2016 and has been an important part of the team since then. Rebecca finds it rewarding to help animals feel better. She is often helping with surgical procedures, customer service, and managing things behind the scenes. Rebecca has an Associate degree in Veterinary Technology and an Associate degree in Animal Science. At home, Rebecca enjoys spending time with her husband and kids and many animals including dogs, cats, and pigs.

  • Olivia Perrin, Licensed Veterinary Technician with Golden Doodle Charlie

    Olivia Perrin, Licensed Veterinary Technician

    Olivia Perrin is a Licensed Veterinary Technician with an Associated degree in Veterinary Technology from SUNY Alfred State and is Fear Free Certified. Olivia enjoys assisting during surgeries, drawing blood, and doing lab work. When not at the Nunda Veterinary Clinic, Olivia spends time with her family and her animals at home.

  • Ryan Barber, Licensed Veterinary Technician with Golden Doodle Charlie

    Ryan Barber, Licensed Veterinary Technician

    Ryan has been a team member at Nunda Veterinary Clinic since June 2021. Some of Ryan’s main responsibilities at the clinic are helping the veterinarian with appointments, drawing and running bloodwork, and taking care of patients that are at the clinic for the day. He most enjoys seeing all the patients each day. at home Ryan has 2 dogs, 1 is a lab mix and the other is a german shepherd mix. When Ryan is out of work he is spending his time outside.

    Lacey Beardsley, Veterinary Technician

    Lacey first joined the Nunda Veterinary Clinic in May 2017, she left for a few months, but missed the team and the pets too much and rejoined the team in March 2022. Lacey assists with appointments, blood draws, x-rays, and pre-operative procedures. Her favorite part is helping the dogs and cats live their best life, and seeing sick animals feel better. Lacey is an animal lover and at home, she has 2 Australian Shepards and 1 3-legged cat. Lacey enjoys spending time with her family, especially her nieces and nephew, and being outdoors.

    Liz Earner, Veterinary Technician

    Liz has been part of the Nunda Veterinary Clinic staff since May 2017. Liz’s main duties include assisting the veterinarian with patient care. She also takes on special projects, like planting flowers at the clinic. Liz enjoys meeting new clients and their pets. She considers the staff at the Nunda Veterinary Clinic a big family! Liz has one dog, Nava, who you may meet at. the clinic helping out! Outside of work, she spends time with her 3 children, gardening, and barbequing with her large family.

    Vickie Horan, Receptionist

    Vickie joined the Nunda Veterinary Clinic team in June 2020. She answers phones, schedules appointments, and enjoys the family-friendly environment. Vickie has a Bachelor's degree in Business and Communications from SUNY Brockport. She has a dog and a cat at home. Vickie shoots archery and enjoys hiking and kayaking.

    Lyz Tyler, Receptionist

    Lyz became part of the team at the Nunda Veterinary Clinic in April 2022. When you call in Lyz is one of the receptionists that will assist you in making an appointment or getting a medicine refilled or a question answered. She enjoys working as part of the team and with the clients and of course the cats and dogs that visit the clinic! Lyz has 2 dogs, 2 cats, a bunny, 2 goats, ducks, and many, many chickens. When she’s not working she’s taking care of all her animals.
